Turning WHO Guidance into Action: Zambia’s Approach to Supporting Re-engagement in HIV Treatment – Monday, 17 February 2025, 16.00 – 17.00 CET
As countries strive towards the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets, it’s imperative to support re-engagement in HIV treatment services, as disengagement from treatment and care can result in advanced HIV disease along with opportunistic infections, increased risk of mortality, higher rates of viral non-suppression and can drive development of drug resistance.
Join WHO for a webinar focused on the WHO Supporting re-engagement in HIV treatment services policy brief released in 2024. This session will present an overview of WHO’s policy brief key messages and share insights from Zambia and civil society. The discussion will explore strategies to overcome barriers and implement effective re-engagement approaches to achieve the global targets by 2030.
