Every woman and girl has the right to high quality, voluntary, family planning, regardless of her HIV status. Linking family planning and HIV services is crucial for achieving the FP2020 and Sustainable Development Goals and for realizing the global dream of an AIDS-free generation.
On 14 October 2020, Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) and the International AIDS Society (IAS) co hosted the webinar, "Integrating rights-based family planning and HIV care: Lessons learned from differentiated service delivery". This webinar focused on sexual and reproductive health integration and how the family planning and HIV communities can work together to further this goal.
On 2 December 2020 the second webinar examined SRH integration policy aspirations, COVID realities, and existing opportunities, including advocacy in the service of expanding integrated Family Planning HIV care and increasing people-centred care.
